I need to find out about real estate investment in Alabama.

My boss is looking into real estate investing and wants me to do some research on real estate investment for him. He wants most of my real estate investing research to be geared for real estate investment in Alabama. I'm not sure why he asked me to do this for him. I don't know a thing about real estate investment or where to get the best information. I'm going to make a few phone calls and see if I can get some tips on resources for real estate investment. Once I find out more about real estate investing I'll make some calls and get information on real estate investment in Alabama.
